Gyor is the most significant city of northwest Hungary and situated in Western Transdanubia. Baross Gabor ut is a beautiful cobblestoned pedestrian street in the middle of the Baroque downtown.
There are various restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, and boutiques. Gyor's key theatre is the National Theatre of Gyor. It has prominent ceramic ornaments prepared by Victor Vasarely. Gyor has many historical monuments such as the Lutheran Evangelic church and the castle. The Pannonhalma Archabbey is situated around 20 km outside the town.
The City Hall is a good-looking Neoclassical building over the street from the railway station. It is best to visit the City Hall at night when entirety is brightened in gold lights with so much to do and see, most of the travelers choose to rent a car in Gyor to plan their stay.
