Pula is a small town in the province of Cagliari. It lies to the south west of the capital and provides a great place to base a holiday in Sardinia if you wish to be away from the tourist areas in the north of the island. You don’t have to miss out on beaches though as there are plenty of soft, sandy beaches to the south of the town. With car rental offered by VIP Cars, you can choose to explore the coast by using the SS195, or you can also choose to take some of the smaller country roads into the hilly regions of Sardinia to the west of Pula. You can then take advantage of hiking and mountain biking trails up in the hills.
