Car Rental Lavagna

Lavagna is a small fishing city along the Riviera de Levante (more often referred to as the gulf of Tigullo). It is a popular summer destination for Italian tourists, who flock the city’s fine beaches, in order to escape the August heat.
Lavagna was built in the Roman era and known as Lavania. Later during the Carolinian period, this small settlement became a seat of the court. Later still, in the 1100, the Feichi family used Lavinia as their stronghold against the rival province of Genoa. Finally, it became part of the Kingdom of Sicily in 1815 and then part of the Kingdom of Italy. Attractions include two basilicas, a medieval watch tower and the yearly recreation of an important 12th century wedding.
