Katima Mulilo is situated on the eastern edge of the Caprivi Strip and is the last town on the Caprivi Highway. The Caprivi Highway is a great way to see many of the attractions that Namibia has to offer, particularly in the Caprivi Strip where the Zambeze River creates a lush, tropical habitat that is home to spectacularly colour tropical birds as well as many other types of animal. While it is possible to travel along the highway by bus, it is more pleasurable to rent a car through VIP Cars so that you can plan your journey to allow time to stop to watch some of the incredible wildlife, or perhaps to visit a local market.Katima Mulilo also offers the chance to go on arranged safaris on both land and water and offers a great range of accommodation for all budgets.
