Ondangwa lies close to the northern border of Namibia with Angola. The town is used as one of the residential towns of the Kings of Ondonga and so has a relatively high status in the region. Ondangwa lies in between the Kaoko and Damara regions of Namibia and so provides easy access to some incredible scenery and wildlife.Transport into the town is easy as there is a local airport, but it is advisable to rent a car through VIP Cars in order to explore the town and the local area. For anyone wishing to see wildlife in the area the Etosha National Park is the perfect destination. When driving around the town to visit some of the local markets, which sell things like local food delicacies and traditional clothing, drivers, should be extra vigilant for livestock as goats and cows are permitted to roam freely.
