Ave Las Americas is the main road running east to west through La Chorrera and it makes a great location to find a hotel and to pick up a car rental in order to explore the surrounding area. La Chorrera lies on the Pan-American Highway and so offers easy access to other towns by road.Within the city, there is an international flavour with many different types of cuisine on offer, but there is also plenty of local fare as well in the form of bollo and chicheme.The city gets its name from the waterfalls that surround the city.
