Lagos is a city and municipality in the Algarve region of southern Portugal. Located at the mouth of the Bensafrim River facing the Atlantic Ocean, Lagos is a popular tourist destination, renowned for its varied attractions such as sandy beaches, vibrant nightlife, summer parties and historical landmarks.
