Santa Apolonia Train Station is the oldest railway terminus located in Lisbon, Portugal. It is located in the centralregion of the city on the bank of the Tagus River in the historical district of Alfama. This station was opened on May 1, 1865. From 1891 to 1957, entire passenger services which had terminus on Santa Apolonia had relocated to Rossio Train Station also recognized as Central Station. This station is served by the national rail company CP and functions different suburban, national and international routes.
