Tunis is a large coastal city located in northern Tunisia. Situated on a Mediterranean Gulf, this city is the capital of the country and an important port. This city is served by the Tunis-Carthage Int’l Airport which is the main gateway for travelers visiting Tunisia. Tunis has a number of attractions for travelers to see. The Medina contains many medieval buildings, mosques and gates that are worth seeing. The ancient historical town of Carthage is also nearby and travelers can easily visit it from here.
