Sydenham is split between the London Boroughs of Bromley, Southwark, and Lewisham. It is a suburb in the south east of the city, and, interestingly, it was one of the first places in the south of England to have a railway station.

John Logie Baird, the inventor of TV, is amongst Sydenham’s famous former residents.
