Willard CMI Airport or the University of Illinois Willard Airport is an airport owned by the University of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign. This airport is located south of Savoy in the Tolono Township of southern Illinois and serves the Greater Champaign-Urbana Metropolitan area. This airport is named after a former University of Illinois president and is the location for the university’s Institute of Aviation, a major research facility.
