Savoy is a village located in Champaign County of the US state of Illinois. This village is mostly known for being the site of the popular University of Illinois and is a part of the Champaign-Urbana Metropolitan Area. The University of Illinois Willard Airport is also located just south of Savoy and is used for commercial as well as general aviation. The area around this village is known as the Silicon Prairie and is home to a number of Fortune 500 companies.
