Savoy is a village located in Champaign County of the US state of Illinois. This village is mostly known for being the site of the popular University of Illinois and is a part of the Champaign-Urbana Metropolitan Area. The University of Illinois Willard Airport is also located just south of Savoy and is used for commercial as well as general aviation. The area around this village is known as the Silicon Prairie and is home to a number of Fortune 500 companies.

There are a number of attractions around Savoy for travelers to visit. The Champaign City Building serves as the Town Hall, and known for its Art Deco architecture. The Historic Virginia Theater dates back to the 1920’s and a well known landmark scheduling special screenings and the annual Robert Ebert’s Overlooked Film Festival. Other attractions nearby are located in the Campustown and the Downtown areas of this city.
