Yorkville is a city and seat of the Kendall County in the US state of Illinois. This city was first settled in the early nineteenth century on the Fox River, which still runs through this city. The Central Business District of this town is located towards the south of the Kendall River and is the location for most of the city’s historic homes. The larger city Aurora is also located nearby and can be visited by travelers.

Yorkville has many historical attractions for travelers to visit. The Chapel on the Green is the oldest church in Illinois and a major landmark here.
