Wicomico Airport’s full title is Salisbury Ocean City: Wicomico Regional Airport. The airportcode is SBY. It is in Wicomico County in the US state of Maryland, and it is 8 kilometres outside of the downtown area of Salisbury. It is the only commercial airport on the Delmarva Peninsula, and thus also serves the Eastern part of Virginia, Delaware, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland in addition to the city of Salisbury. Used as a US Navy training centre during the Second World War, the airport has a café and a lounge.
